Message from Zama & Mpumi – Abundant Grace Ministries
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to you and to everyone at Beit Ariel for your generous giving to the precious people in our community. The donations could not have come at a better time.
We rejoice with you at the news of Beit Ariel's coming move to town. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Just a quick update:
Soup Kitchen is still very busy on Mondays and Saturdays and on Pension Pay days because soup is in great demand. See photos.
The house we plan to lease as a Children's Home is in a quiet suburb of Montana - between Gugulethu and Moderdam Rd. This week-end we'll be meeting the owner again so that we can proceed with the application for Registration with Social Development. She's providing us with the House Plan & Title Deed. We'll keep you posted.
Lots of improvements have been made during this winter school vac. Our students from the SSP (Students Support Program), painted the inside office walls & ceiling. We gave it a bit if a facelift as well. You will notice the difference when you walk in.
Also the SSP group took the responsibility to escort 1 child each from the community. A total of 10 children between ages 11 and 6 years, 2 babies and 1 toddler, were taken on an outing last Thursday, 5th July to the Green Point Play grounds. 3 mothers were there overseeing the trip. They took a train from Khayelitsha to Cape Town and back, and walked between Cape Town and Green Point. We had a picnic on the grounds and everybody bought ice cream from one student who was doing business selling his own ice cream. His was the first children's outing and because it was such a success, we are planning to make it twice a year.
May the name of Hashem continue to be lifted higher and higher among His people.

Some background: Zama and Mpumi lead a church in Khayelitsha called Abundant Grace Ministries. Zama released his wife to attend Beit Ariel for a year to learn more about the Hebraic roots of our faith in Yeshua. Beit Ariel supports their ministry and we gather materials that they can use to facilitate their ministry. My wife and I have visited the church and they are doing a good work among the people as you can read above.
